The Pure Water Demonstration Facility is located at the North City Water Reclamation Facility in San Diego, CA. Pure Water treats reclaimed water using ozone, membrane treatment, reverse osmosis, and advanced oxidation UV-AOP to produce high quality water that will be stored in a local reservoir for storage. The Pollution Research Group (PRG) is based in University of KwaZulu Natal’s School of Engineering (Chemical Engineering) which conducts innovative research projects on water resources, waste water reclamation and reuse, the impact of effluents on local environments, sanitation systems, and other water related environmental issues.
